FOUR-BY Motor Co is pleased to offer this ultra rare 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4. This is often referred to as the holy grail of VR4’s. It is the first year for this model, the most desirable color and all the bells and whistles. This VR4 is near impossible to find in original condition. It is completely rust free after spending its entire life out west. It is completely bone stock and never modified making it even more rare of a find. It is believed to have only had 1 owner, and was used as a highway commuter, hence the high mileage. It has a clean title, no accidents, and Carfax report on hand. This is a blank canvas and great starting point for someone looking to build one of these tuner legends or just collect. It comes with the coveted twin turbo 3.0L V6 making 296 hp. These are known for there powerful launches coming from the all wheel drive system putting all that horsepower straight to the pavement. The engine starts right up and idles smoothly. It pulls very hard when getting on the accelerator which is sure to put a smile on your face every time. We were told the engine was rebuilt around 100k miles ago but no documentation has been provided yet. The car is an absolute blast to drive. It has all wheel steering, all wheel drive, tunable exhaust, tunable suspension and is also equipped with active aero. Everything is believed to be functioning correctly. The car runs smooth and the transmission shifts well. The tires are in good condition. The original wheels are available but would need shipped via freight. This is a great driving VR4 but we are sure there are little things needing attention. It is a 35 year old car but you would never know by looking at it or driving it. The interior is in excellent condition. This is a rare color combo out there and we couldn't love it more. The seats are in great original shape. The carpet is in excellent condition. The door panels are in near flawless shape. The dash is in excellent condition. The headliner is great. It has all the original electronics and everything seems to work properly which is rad. It has no odors and has never been smoked in, never any pets. This is probably one of the rarest and cleanest interiors you will find in a first year VR4. It is super comfortable and clean. The rear hatch area is spotless. This is an incredible example of the rarest interior on these Mitsubishi’s. The exterior is in great condition. The paint has a great shine to it. The paint appears to be all original. It has been driven and has normal wear for a 34 year old sports car but it shows extremely well. there are some imperfections on the bumpers but as for the rest of the body it is near perfect. It gets compliments and thumbs up at every stoplight. The undercarriage is insanely clean for its age. These cars were typically abused, raced and highly modified so this is a rare opportunity to own an original, unmolested VR4. The car runs and drives great but is ready for someone to address any quirks and bring it back to its full potential.
