2003 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL 500

2003 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Hardtop Convertible, Silver with Gray Leather, 5.0L V8 with 5 Spd Automatic Transmission, Local Trade. This car was sold new in California, and came South. This car has never been up north. It is super low miles, very clean, and has NO ACCIDENTS or DAMAGE on the Carfax. It has Power Windows and Locks, Tilt, Cruise, AM/FM/CD Stereo, Woodgrain Interior Trim, and Power Seats. It is sitting on good tires, and it runs and drives out well.


Pros: Clean Carfax, Clean SL, World Class V8 Performance Car, Runs strong and handles like a race car.


Cons: The power top is finicky, but it works. The previous owner showed me how to pop a tray in place in the trunk of the car to allow the top to work, but I have to call him to show me every time I try to work it. If you are familiar with these cars, you will probably know exactly what to do. The mechanics all work...top goes up and down smoothly if you know how to do it. Also, there are some typical Mercedes warning lights on the dash, but nothing that effects the driveability of the car.


This car is a great driver, and just needs a little TLC to make it top notch. Mechanically, it runs out great. I have priced it accordingly.
