The Murci©lago was designed by Luc Donckerwolke and was publicly unveiled in 2001 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Diablo. Yellow-painted calipers with Lamborghini script are fitted over cross-drilled discs. The car is equipped with active dampers and a front-axle lift system.Nero Perseus leather covers the manually adjustable seats and is accented by yellow stitching, while carbon-fiber trim adorns the center console, dashboard, door sills, and seat adjusters. An Alpine touchscreen head unit is linked to Focal speakers and ARC Audio amplifiers, and additional features include automatic climate control and inboard shoulder restraints.The aftermarket steering wheel is wrapped in leather and carbon fiber with a yellow centering stripe. A carbon-fiber instrument surround has been fitted, and instrumentation consists of a 220-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature.
