Seller's Notes

This 1956 Ford F-100 is Live on Bring a Trailer! Check out the Auction Here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1956-ford-f-100-163/ The truck was refinished in teal under prior ownership and features a double-bar grille, tilt hood, wrap-around windshield, power antenna, smoothed bumpers, and aftermarket taillights. The in-cab fuel tank has been relocated, and the fuel filler located on the right side of the cab is nonfunctional. Paint chips and other blemishes are pictured in the gallery below. The bed features a wood floor with stainless runners and a flush-mounted filler door for the relocated fuel tank. GM seatbelt latches have been adapted as tailgate latches on each bedside. The truck rides on a later GM passenger car independent front suspension along with a solid rear axle, and it is equipped with power steering and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes. The parking brake was adjusted, the steering column U-joint was replaced, and staggered BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires were mounted on the 15″ Rally wheels in preparation for the sale. The cab houses a bench seat trimmed in gray cloth along with a coordinated headliner, rear cab panels, door panels, and kick panels. Equipment includes an aftermarket digital stereo, an under-dash air conditioning unit, and a B&M shifter. A retrofitted alarm system and power door locks can be controlled via a remote fob. The door handles were tightened, the horn was repaired, and the window tracks were aligned in preparation for the sale. The Lecarra steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column aft of a 90-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge as well as auxiliary Stewart-Warner gauges for vacuum, water temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles. Total mileage is unknown. The Chevrolet 350ci V8 is topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor, and it features an MSD HEI distributor as well as Moroso valve covers. The cooling system has braided hoses and an electric radiator fan. Service in December 2025 included replacing the spark plug wires, repairing the throttle rod, and performing a compression test, the results of which are pictured in the gallery below.
