What we have here is a very eye-catching nicely done and built Cobra Replica that was assembled and originally titled in 2001. With real Shelby Cobras fetching $1 Million or more, opting for the replica is not a bad choice in so many ways. This car is badged a 427 but is actually a 302 mated to a manual gearbox and in my opinion I personally like driving the small block cars especially any distance due to the overwhelming heat and vibration the 427 can produce. This car has all the documentation from its build including the service receipts post build. This Lonestar replica appears to be a quality built example with everything in nice working order. It starts right up, idles nicely and goes through all gears as it should. It goes down the road nicely commanding all the attention! We welcome any questions or inspections here in our Traverse City location. These are a ton of fun for the money and would make someone a great turnkey car show fan or tour it at your leisure.
