It takes about 10 hours to charge the Bolt's 66-kWh battery pack using a 240-volt outlet. Chevrolet says that this method garners up to 25 miles of range per hour of charging. DC Fast Charging at a public charging station adds about 100 miles of range in just 30 minutes!
Where Can I Charge the Chevrolet Bolt?
The Bolt's standard charging cord lets you charge the car anywhere there is a three-prong outlet. But that method is slow and not recommended. When you're out and about, the myChevrolet app can help you locate more than 40,000 compatible public charging stations. Also, General Motors has announced that it is working to build more than 2,700 DC Fast Charging stations over the next five years!'
