66,000 miles
This 1970 442 convertible is being offered for sale from a private collection in Scottsdale AZ .
This is an absolutely stunning 442 4-speed convertible with only 66,000 original miles driven since new. The documentation on this car is excellent with its original bill of sale, original window sticker, owners manual, warranty booklet, and pre-delivery inspection document.
This 442 has lived most of its life in California and then long-term ownership in the state of Arizona. It is an absolutely corrosion free car and has had only one repaint approximately 15 years ago. The paint is beautiful in its factory color and body panels are rock solid and perfect. This is a very original car with its complete numbers matching components featuring 455 CID motor, rocket rally pac, Muncie close ratio, 4-speed transmission and factory Anti–Spin rear axle.
Some of the other factory ordered options include power disc brakes, variable ratio power steering, super stock II wheels, sports console, soft ray glass and a push button radio. The interior has been replaced with Legendary upholstery and door panels. This 442 convertible shows incredibly well, very crisp and clean, and it runs and drives exceptionally well. It is very smooth, tight and rattle free, as you would expect from an original low mile car that has not been dismantled. Definitely a very rare find with this level of documentation, originality, great ownership history and living all of its life spent in the best climate in the country.
