This immaculate car has been enhanced for better performance, drivability, and comfort. Long tube headers promote better engine breathing and provide a nice increase in horsepower with no effect on reliability or drivability. That drivability has been greatly enhanced by 20% shorter gearing that is immediately noticeable in much quicker response. The short throw shifter and massaged shifter detents makes for smoother and more precise shifting, and the DSC control module for the electronically controlled shock absorbers not only improves the ride and handling but is user programmable. Corvettes are notoriously loud from road noise but this car has sound deadening applied to the rear floor, rear wheel wells, and behind the seats to greatly reduce the road noise while allowing the sounds of the engine in to enjoy. Extensive use of Carbon Fiber and a custom steering wheel and shifter boot/knob complete the package.
