1953 Porsche 356

Finished from the factory in Adria Blue, the Reutter coupe body was repainted white under previous ownership. Features include a curved single-piece windshield that was new for the 1953 model year as well as color-coordinated bumpers, quad taillights, a single exhaust exit, bright window trim, and gold-colored ?1500 Super badging. A scratch in the paint in the right-side door and rocker panel was repaired in January 2022.Silver-finished 15 wheels feature chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Michelin XZX tires. All four brake cylinders and shoes, as well as the brake hoses and master cylinder, were replaced in January 2022.The cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in red velour and a rear bench trimmed in red vinyl. Total mileage is unknown.The replacement 1.6L air-cooled flat-four is said to have been installed under previous ownership and is equipped with dual carburetors as well as a Fram oil filter and Knecht air cleaners. Service in January 2022 by Carl s Place of Las Vegas, Nevada, included bead blasting the cylinder heads and valves, cleaning the cylinders, and replacing the piston rings and distributor rotor. The carburetors were rebuilt by 356 Carburetor Rescue of Sedona, Arizona concurrent with the 2022 engine work.Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Corrosion is noted on some exhaust components.The Kentucky title displays a Not Actual Mileage brand.
