1965 Amphicar Model 770

The car was refinished in its current shade of red approximately 12 years ago. Its louvered engine cover has a flagpole mount, and the tail panel has high-mounted outlets for exhaust and bilge water. The seller reports that the white convertible top should be replaced. Two paint flaws are pictured in the gallery below.White-finished 13 steel wheels wear bright hubcaps and whitewall tires. The front wheels serve as rudders when the car is afloat. The hydraulic drum brakes and front wheel bearings are overdue for service. The cabin houses a split front bench, a rear bench, and door panels trimmed in white and black vinyl.
