The car was finished from the factory in Vienna Blue and was stripped and rust repairs were performed by Nostalgia Garage of North Charleston, South Carolina. FinishMaster Inc of Augusta, Georgia then repainted the vehicle in colors mixed to match BMW Imola Red with a Mini Pepper White roof. The bumpers were rechromed, and the stainless-steel trim was refurbished. Exterior details include dual side mirrors, wing windows, and a single exhaust outlet. The rear window was replaced under current ownership, and blemishes in the paint can be viewed up close in the photo gallery below.Body-color steel wheels wear polished covers with yellow-finished centers and are mounted with whitewall tires. A Ford Mustang II style suspension is said to have been installed along with a custom CNC-fabricated front subframe. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs up front and drums at the rear.Originally trimmed in blue vinyl with patterned cloth inserts, the interior was reupholstered in red vinyl with white inserts and fitted with lap belts during the aforementioned refurbishment. Dynamat sound-deadening material is said to have been applied throughout the cabin, and appointments include two rows of bench seats, Vintage Air climate control, polished dashboard and door-panel trim, a locking glove compartment, and an audio speaker with Bluetooth connectivity.A custom three-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a custom tilting column and frames Dolphin gauges consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and voltage.
