For over twenty years from 1975 through 1996 Jaguar manufactured and marketed the XJS (XJ27) as the flagship grand-tourer. It was built in either form or Coupe or full convertible but only in two-door form. You could get an XJ with the similar front end and lines in a 4-door. Originally the XJ-S, later the XJS would come with the V-12 engine with a choice of manual or automatic transmission but the manual was soon dropped and the V-12 would later become an option. Later on, Jaguar would also have some high performance or specialty XJS that would enter the picture as well. This particular nice driver example is here in our Traverse City location and seems to be in pretty nice shape but is priced accordingly knowing that there could be some needs down the road but right now the car starts right up, idles nicely and goes down the road very nicely. The convertible top operates as it should and the condition of the top seems nice. The interior is in good condition for the age and mileage, the paint has some blemishes but no rust or rot anywhere with the exception of some surface rust on areas where you would expect it. This is a ton of car for the money and wouldn’t take much to take it to the next level or just drive the wheels off of it. We welcome any questions and inspections.
