1971 GMC 2500 Custom – 3/4-Ton, 2WD Long Bed This 1971 GMC 2500 Custom is a solid three-quarter-ton, 2WD long box with a strong drivetrain and lots of recent work. It’s powered by a Chevy 350 that was recently refreshed with new aluminum heads and intake, long-tube headers, and an aluminum radiator. The 4-speed manual transmission was also just gone through. Recent updates include new inner fenders, hood hinges, wheels and tires, window regulators, door latches, and door rubbers. The truck drives like a dream and presents clean overall, with very little rust. It will need some light bodywork, but it’s an excellent foundation.
