Impala is probably the best market-focused Chevy I’ve ever driven. It is very much a large car, with a smooth ride, good power, lots of space, and decently attractive trappings. Chevy sedans have come on quite strong in the last few years. The five-passenger Impala is a full-size sedan, with surprisingly stylish looks that grab you from the first glance, and a high-quality interior with many thoughtful touches keeps driver and passengers happy in the cabin. There's nothing dull about the Impala's angry face and the muscular proportions. Aside from the obvious, the face up front is the Bowtie brand’s corporate visage. It’s an attractive mug with clean lines, little to no clutter, and a full suite of high-tech HID and LED lighting elements. Direct injection 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is a reliable and fuel-efficient option for a large sedan, six-speed automatic transmission and front wheel drive, EPA estimated 21 city mpg and 31 highway mpg. This engine provides a balanced mix of power and performance, making it suitable for daily commuting and highway driving. Interior boasts more legroom, there are redundant knobs and steering wheel buttons for entertainment and climate controls, interior design, which sports a dual-cockpit concept, 8-way power driver seat and 2-way power power passenger seat, as well as a 4.2-inch information screen between the gauges and an eight-inch screen atop the center stack. Chevy My Link, and a pass code protected dash cubby, it hides valuables and prevents valets from accessing personal navigation settings, high-res 3-D navigation mapping, and four distinct menu screen choices. LT sedan with rearview camera with proximity sensors, and remote start, premium audio, tinted windows, and 18" aftermarket sport wheels with plenty of tread. The multilink rear suspension bolts directly to the 111.7-inch wheelbase, 1.2 inches longer than before. 18.8 cubic foot trunk under the Impala’s high decklid.
