The Jeep Wrangler TJ is the second generation of the iconic Off-Roader that was built between 1997 and 2006. It would return to the iconic round headlights as the CJ’s and after a failed attempt at taking them to a square light for the first Wrangler. And instead of Leaf Springs, the TJ would feature a more modern coil-spring suspension front and rear. This particular TJ is far from stock and has a more modern 5.7 liter V8 installed with no expense spared install by a Licensed Master tech. It is mated to a 45RFE 4-speed Automatic transmission, has front and rear posi-traction, a 4-core aluminum radiator with electric fan, heavy duty rear sway bars, updated suspension and much more all with receipts and records that total over $10,000 in parts alone, not counting labor that come with the purchase. It also has carpeted and insulated hard-top, upgraded stereo and speakers and lighting throughout. This TJ starts, idles, sounds, shifts, brakes and goes down the road so nicely. It has a nice comfortable ride, down not squeak or rattle and is really well done. The interior is in excellent shape, the body has some dings and bruises as you would expect from the age of the vehicle but is not rusty or crusty in the least. This was built to be used and enjoyed, but built well enough not to break. We welcome any questions and encourage any inspections here in our Traverse City location.
