1988 Chevrolet R30 “Hot Shot” Fifth-Wheel Hauler – 55K Original Miles

Built to work and designed for long-haul comfort, this 1988 Chevrolet R30 Hot Shot Hauler began life as a chassis-cab truck before being professionally converted by Cabriolet into a dedicated fifth-wheel hauler.
Originally sold new by North County Motors in Paso Robles, California, the truck spent most of its life in California before relocating to Tennessee in 2018. Today it shows just 55,000 miles and comes with extensive original documentation.

Under the hood is the legendary 7.4L (454) V8 with electronic fuel injection, factory rated at 230 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear dually axle through the proven TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, a drivetrain known for durability and towing strength.

The truck has always been well maintained and kept hence all the documentation and receipts we have on file from previous owner. It was also repainted due to fade of original stripes and paint and is purpose-built for hauling with a gooseneck fifth-wheel hitch, diamond-plate bed flooring, three fuel tanks for extended range, and under-bed storage lockers for tools and gear.
We rubbed and polished the exterior to the best shine possible and installed a period-correct vinyl stripe all custom and done professionally by a well respected wrap signage shop.

Inside, the custom cab conversion provides both comfort and practicality. Tan and brown upholstery covers the front bucket seats, while the rear bench converts into a sleeping area, making it ideal for long-distance hauling or road trips. Additional features include:
