This 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible is an iconic classic pony car. The 1965 convertible is highly sought after as the debut year for the soft-top body style. This vehicle has a 289 ci V-8 engine with a three-speed automatic transmission. The key issues in this model includes rust, while its charm lies in its cruising ability. That's true for this vehicle, as it runs well and drives very well. This two-door has black leather-like interior and it is in good condition. The exterior light yellow is in good condition with some scratches under hood on nose piece by the grill. There is a nickel sized dent on the driver's side hood. And there is surface rust in the trunk deck. The convertible top works and has a tiny hole on passenger side quarter. The window in the convertible top is showing its age and probably should be replaced before too long. There is a boot for the top when down. It has power door locks, power steering, stereo system (factory) with an after-market stereo and cassette player, heater, turn signals, wipers antenna; all of which work as they should. All lights work except the reverse light and grill light on the driver's side. The crank windows work well. Cigarette lighter is missing. There are no leaks and fluids are full. There is a spare tire, car jack and tools.The tires are in good condition however manufacturer's date should be looked at.
