- Bought a few years ago by its current owner to add a Vette to his car collection, with the plan to have it as a "work in progress" restoration, while still driving it when he had time... Unfortunately, running a few businesses and a small farm, he's decided to sell to free up money for another car project.
- Paint and body are in decent condition ( looks great in Silver! ), although upon closer inspection, it is showing signs of an older repaint, with some chips, small cracks and faded areas- perfect, if you want a Vette to drive, enjoy and not worry about hurting the paint / body ! Very nice body gaps, opening / closing of the doors, hatch and hood. Trim is decent, but Corvette emblems do show age. Weather stripping also appears to be original. Glass ( windshield, doors and hatch) in great shape ! Glass top does have a major crack, that's been sealed with silicone.
- Most of the interior appears to be original- seat covers show age / cracks in the leather as does the door panels, plastics, trim..etc... non-working gauges, hvac controls, power mirrors, lights, power seats and power passenger window ? Working turn signals, brake lights, aftermarket radio, power locks ( must be careful, because power locks automatically lock doors if parked, car is idling and driver exits then closes door- could lock your keys in ), power hatch release button and working driver's power window. Owner says there is an electrical draw on the battery, that he hasn't had time to diagnose, but, added a breaker on the battery to disengage battery when not in use. Excellent brake pedal feel ! Automatic transmission engages easily through the shifter.
- 5.7L / 350ci fires right up and settles to smooth, throaty idle, with NO smoking or strange smells. Excellent tire tread on matching tires.
Vette runs, drives, shifts and tracks amazing !!
