2020 Kia Stinger GT2 Sedan Little has changed about the Kia Stinger in the years since its launch in 2017, and the 2020 model is no exception. Outside the confines of the test track and out in the real world the Stinger GT AWD is a treat to drive. Its twin turbo V6 has a muted but pleasing exhaust note, and, more important, more than enough power to throw you back hard into your seat. The Stinger is most in its element when on a good winding road, where it feels balanced, eager to tackle the next bend, and most important, fun. Motor Trend, March 2020 For consignment, a 2020 Kia Stinger GT2 sedan with a title verified 6,363 actual miles. This is a two owner car that has always been garaged and according to our consignor, has never seen bad weather. Exterior Simulated ducts and vents are nothing new; they've been around since the 50's at least. Part of the appeal of the Kia Stinger is how it was transformed from an otherwise rudimentary shape and design into something exciting and aggressive with placement of scoops, vents, and cladding on just about every corner, and a few are even functional. Our Micro Blue Pearl example also highlights the thin strip of wraparound taillight that is ultimately distinctive while stylish 19-inch wheels with their original low profile tires and red calipers further enhance the profile view. More than half the roof is designated as a panoramic sunroof which slide back externally, stopping just before the shark fin antennae. Imperfections are few and include a chip on an A-pillar, a scuff on the front apron, and some typical chin scrapes. Interior Sweeping black panels and brushed aluminum trim dress the doors, each with black plastic switchgear for the windows with extra controls for the driver. Inside, robust black leather bucket seats occupy the front with aggressive side bolstering and GT embossed in the headrest. In back, defined seating for two with a middle option and three headrests, all looking showroom fresh. A flat bottomed ergonomic steering wheel fronts the simple instrument cluster flanking a speedometer and tachometer to a central information screen. A rising screen on the center dash provides more information over turbine style vents, brushed aluminum selection buttons, and black toned A/C panel. The small shifter resides in the center console, transferring information electronically, juxtaposed by some old school cup holders to the right and more bells and whistles further back. Black carpet below, charcoal headliner above and a trunk lined with a GT branded rubber mat complete our tour of this nearly pristine Stinger specimen. Drivetrain The widely shrouded engine is a 3.3 liter DOHC twin turbo V6 rated at 365 horsepower which is delivered to both axles through an 8-speed automatic transmission, finally spinning through 3.54 gears. The bay presents cleanly and features some beefy support braces. Undercarriage About what you'd expect on a 6,000 mile car. Some minor oxidation and otherwise clean. Dual exhaust run down a central tunnel, through the original mufflers, and out through oval tips cut into the rear splitter. Power disc brakes are of the top notch Brembo variety and suspension is comprised of Macpherson struts in front and coil springs in back for independent configuration at all four corners. Drive-Ability Nothing to complain about here. It's clean, comfortable, and full of modern ergonomics for your driving pleasure. The car has plenty of power and no wheel spin, tracks straight, and stays perfectly planted in turns. Functionally, everything on board works as it should and we're excited to get this potential future collectible on the showroom floor. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. That's right, we said it. Twenty years from now, this will still be regarded as Kia's flagship sports touring s
