1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro-Street – Big Block, Tubbed, Show & Go Stance

If you’re after subtle, this isn’t your car. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro-Street is all attitude the second it fires—and it backs it up with serious hardware.

Under the hood sits a 468 Big Block Chevrolet, breathing through an aluminum intake and four-barrel carb, delivering instant, hard-hitting torque. It’s detailed with aluminum pulleys, billet cross braces, and billet hood hinges, all supported by an aluminum radiator. Long-tube headers exit just ahead of the rear wheels, giving it that unmistakable Pro-Street sound.
Power runs through a 3-speed automatic with a reverse valve body, controlled by a Sidewinder shifter, and down to a 12-bolt rear end with an aluminum cover—a proven setup for handling big power.

The stance is exactly right. Up front, QA1 tubular control arms and shocks keep things tight, while the rear features an Alston multi-link suspension with coilovers and a fully tubbed chassis. Frame bracing and power steering round out a setup that’s both aggressive and functional.

Braking comes from power four-wheel discs with a chrome booster and master cylinder.

It sits on Weld 15-inch racing wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires—skinny up front (26x6.0R15) and massive 29x18R15 rears for that unmistakable Pro-Street stance.
