- Trying to find an affordable, full size convertible, that is " turn-key" , solid and ready for cruise nights and / or car shows, is getting pretty hard to find these days !!
Paint and body are exceptionally clean and laser straight !! Upon close inspection, it does show a couple of small road chips. Rear deck lid shows very, very small, hairline cracks. Trim and brightwork shows very well. Bumpers were color matched with body paint. Very nice body gaps, opening / closing of both doors ( NO sagging ) , hood and trunk. Glass in good shape, outside of a couple small etched stains on the drivers window. All windows roll up and down easily, although drivers window could use a little adjustment to seat perfectly. New top in great shape with NO rips or tears. Plastic rear window is nice and clear. Power top operates perfectly up and down with no binding. Working lights, signals and wipers.
- Interior is just as nice with no signs of abuse, neglect or being smoked in. Very nice carpet, door panels and trim. Working interior lights. Working gauges, older aftermarket cassette radio and hvac controls ( ac needs to be charged ). Column mounted automatic shifter engages easily. Very good brake pedal feel. Very nice seat covers with NO rips, tears, sagging or signs of extreme wear- it's like driving your couch !! Dash pad in very good shape, outside of a very, very small hairline crack by the drivers side speaker grill.
- *Believed to be original* factory 455ci motor, starts right up and settles to smooth idle with NO smoking or any strange smells. Was told motor was rebuilt recently, but do not have documentation to prove so, but, with how nice it runs and drives, I don't doubt it ! TH400 automatic transmission shifts butter smooth.
Car is equipped with a set of good looking, period correct aftermarket "mag" wheels and excellent tire tread !! Car also comes with original owner books, protect-o-plate, spare tire / jack and tonneau cover for convertible top.
Car runs, drives, shifts, tracks and brakes as good as it looks !!
