Gateway Classic Cars Tampa Showroom is honored to present this spectacular 1956 Ford F100. Let's be honest, you see a lot of 50s era Chevy trucks but not many F100s. More than likely, do to their long hard life most endured. We've had quite a few F100s come and go here at the Tampa Showroom, but hands down this one is the best all around we've had. The truck is truly a work of art. The owner/consignor built this masterpiece in a little over a years time. One of the issues with spraying an old Ford truck is picking a flattering color, but this Prowler Gold is sensational, especially in the sun. Add some hand painted old school stripes and this thing pops! The interior is tastefully done with full instrumentation, additional old school pinstriping, and a custom seat. Rack and pinion steering, four wheel disc brakes, and tubular upper and lower control arms make this F100 handle far better than it ever could have new. Wondering what the powertrain is? A 350ci, not a typo, connected to a 700R4 overdrive trans, and an 8.8 Ford rear diff makes quite the combination. To top it all off, a Vintage A/C system has been installed. This one has it all and you can find it sitting on the showroom floor of our Tampa location.
