1996 Dodge Viper RT/10

For sale is a 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster. This is a clean title vehicle that shows zero accidents or damage via Carfax and only 38k miles. This Viper is in excellent condition inside and out and runs and drives fantastic! We just installed brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires that are made specifically for the Viper. It has been completely serviced and the AC blows ice cold. This Viper is optioned with the $2500 factory hard top and lexan side windows as well. It is missing the folding soft top but can easily be found used on ebay and Viper Facebook pages if you desire to have one. It was $65k new with all the options! It has an upgraded aftermarket audio system as well. This is considered the Gen 1.5 version which was made in 1996 only and is very rare. It is the Gen 1 body with all of the Gen 2 updates underneath (frame, suspension, brakes, exhaust and more). Basically, it's the ultimate Gen 1! It is very rare as well. They only made 721 Viper RT/10 total in 1996. They came in black with grey stripes, red with yellow wheels, and White with blue stripes of which there were only 324 produced. It is undetermined how many White cars came with the factory optioned white wheels. It is powered an 8-liter V-10 engine with a stock rating of 415hp and 488lb-ft of torque. With a curb weight of only around 3400lbs, this offered amazing performance at the time! Car and Driver tested this exact spec 0-60 mph in only 4.1 seconds and the standing 1/4 mile in 12.6 seconds at 113 mph on its way to a 173 mph top speed! It was designed to be the modern-day Shelby Cobra and it definitely hit its target. Carol Shelby himself helped design the car and signed off on it. This car has a Supersprint aftermarket exhaust and K&N cold air intake box and smooth intake tubes so it is putting out closer to the 450hp of the Coupe. These cars are currently way undervalued but have been steadily climbing over the last few years. Do not be surprised when the prices explode on these.
