After delivery from Ford, the car was sent directly to Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas for the official 40th Anniversary package conversion. Only 400 total 40th Anniversary cars were produced across all color combinations, and reportedly only around 30 were finished in white.

The 40th Anniversary package alone added approximately $12,000 over the cost of the GT500 itself back in 2007, with an additional set of Shelby wheels ordered at the same time for roughly another $6,000, substantial money over the already impressive original MSRP of $43,570.

This Shelby remains completely stock and includes:
