1977 Porsche 930 Turbo RSR Tribute

For sale is a unique opportunity to own a very special 1977 Porsche 930 that has been modified into an RSR tribute car. This vehicle has been owned by the same gentleman near Portland, Oregon since 1986 and shows roughly 40k miles.

The previous owner was a true Porsche enthusiast who sent the vehicle to Monterey, CA for restoration by Josh Higman. During the restoration, steel rear flares were installed, and the vehicle was completely dismantled for paint. Most seals and rubber components were replaced. The interior remained original and is in very nice condition, including the sport seats.

The engine was upgraded to a 3.3L Turbo motor. It is equipped with genuine RSR Fuchs wheels, easily valued at $20,000, measuring 15x9 front and 15x11 rear, wrapped in new tires.

When we acquired the vehicle, we performed extensive work to get it running properly again. A compression test showed 125–130 PSI across all cylinders. Recent work includes:

* New fuel pumps
* New fuel accumulator
* New fuel filter
* Rebuilt fuel distributor
* Rebuilt CDI ignition module
* Rebuilt warm-up regulator by EBS Racing in Reno, NV

Mechanically, the car runs and drives great. This ultimate driving machine handles like it’s on rails. The engine is very healthy, sounds fantastic, and delivers plenty of power. The transmission shifts smoothly through all gears, and the clutch feels great.

Additional upgrades include a Fabspeed intercooler and Numeric shifter. The sunroof and windows work as they should. The car has also been recently serviced with a fresh oil change.
