The Subie Doctor has another "back lot special" coming for sale! Back lot specials are cars we get on trade that we do not perform a full recondition on, this one due to hail damage (majority on the hood) as seen in pictures. This automatic, 2004 Subaru Forester XT is equipped with quite a few tasteful modifications within the suspension, undercarriage and some basic bolt-ons. The engine runs strong and sounds great, the transmission shifts smoothly and this Forester lived in California its whole life, minus the last few years here in Colorado, it is a true rust free example! We have plenty of undercarriage pictures as well to share to show how nice it looks under there.
This Forester is equipped with an ADF 1" lift, Prinsu Rack w/LED light bar, Method Rally Series MR502 Wheels w/newer General Grabber A/T Tires (5th full size spare wheel and tire), Primitve Racing engine, transmission and rear diff metal covers, Mishimoto intercooler, K&N Typhoon Intake and Grimmspeed TMIC air splitter.
We have over $10k in maintenance and service work since 2023 performed here at the shop, here is a list of all the items we've replaced, along with typical oil changes as well. We replaced the timing belt kit with water pump, thermostat and turbo coolant hoses (6k miles ago), replaced both front axles, replaced canister purge solenoid, replaced charcoal canister, replaced 4x injector seal o-rings, replaced PCV hoses and coolant hoses under intake manifold, replaced alternator drive belt, replaced LF ball joint, replaced valve cover gasket kit with spark plugs, installed new General Grabber A/T tires and replaced the LF axle seal.
We did perform a full Pre-Purchase Inspection and the car looks fantastic for its age and miles. The items we identified needing attention would be the power steering pressure lines starting to leak, AC high side line seep w/ AC recharge service. The car runs and drives fantastic and we will share all the inspection report/findings along with the receipts of work we've performed on the vehicle.
This car passed CO emissions with flying colors and is ready to take you off the beaten path or on the next road trip adventure! It has a clean Carfax with no accidents reported.
