This 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a heavily modified American machine that was purpose-built to perform. Under the hood is a 5.7-liter LS6 V8 engine that originally produced 405 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque, which is sent through a six-speed manual transmission to the rear wheels. The engine is not stock, however, having received a Vortech V-2 centrifugal supercharger system, an A&A Corvette 3.80” supercharger pulley, an Elite Engineering oil catch can system, a DeWitt aluminum radiator upgrade, a ProMeth PM115L methanol injection system, and a Paxton fuel pressure regulator, among many other modifications. This machine sits on polished OEM 17” front and 18” rear C5 Z06 wheels and is wrapped in metallic black over the factory black paint finish, a dark hue that makes this car look even more menacing.
