I LOVE this car!!! The designers and engineers really poured their hearts and minds into the classic beauties of this era. From the Lines, to the Chrome, to the High Compression 394 CI Motor (340 Horse), to the 3 Speed Transmission...WHAT a car!
We REBUILT the CARBURETOR, installed new POINTS and CONDENSER, replaced the FUEL FILTER, the TEMP GAUGE SENDER, the THERMOSTAT, the COOLANT OUTLET GASKET, UPPER RADIATOR HOSE, changed the OIL and put on 4 new TIRES!
It starts up immediately and absolutely purrs. The transmission shifts smoothly and easily. The interior is in pretty darn good shape. She has rust (see photos). The trunk lock is drilled out and the glove compartment release handle is broken. The trunk can be opened at that handle with needle nose pliers or with a screwdriver in the trunk lock itself. The power antenna does not work. The radio turns on but it does receive any station signals. Beyond that it is in REALLY nice shape.
