Seller's Notes

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. Americans have had a love affair with Chevrolet's Camaro since it went on sale on Sept. 29, 1966 to compete with Ford's wildly successful Mustang. Those first generation cars (1967-1969) became legendary when Roger Penske and Mark Donohue's Camaros won the SCCA Trans-Am series in 1968 and 1969, and they've been in demand ever since. But the early, chrome-bumper 2nd generation cars (1970-1973) proudly illustrate what is without question one of the cleanest designs to ever come from Detroit. This spectacular Midnight Bronze (68) 1972 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is an outstanding example of these exquisitely styled pony cars. Lift the hood and you'll find the L48 350 V8 that appears original though it has been decked and restamped. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, air conditioning, automatic transmission, 3.08 Posi rear axle, F41 Heavy Duty suspension, correct paint and trim codes, console, gauge package, a newer stereo, front and rear spoilers, and B.F.G. Radial T/A's (245/60R15 F, 255/60R15 R) wrapped around ZJ7 styled steel wheels. Please note the immaculate condition of the chassis in the images; the red oxide primer and powder coated subframes are remarkable. As a true RS/SS this split bumper classic is extremely desirable, and even more so with the included original build sheet. If this classy Camaro is your kind of cool, call the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
