HAS HOLLEY 1850, WILWOOD 4 WHEEL DISC BRAKES, WORKING LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNALS w/ AUTOMATIC OFF, WORKING MANUL GUAGES AND FUEL WORKS. HAS RACING HARNESS. THE BUCKET SEATS DONT ADJUST. I THINK THATS FOR RACING BUT NEVER RACED. LISTEN TO THE VIDEO. THIS THING SOUNDS GREAT AND AT 1800 LBS. MAKES HER FATER THAN YOU WERE THINKING.
THE KIT WAS BOUGHT FROM SHELL VALLEY INC. THAT SELLS SEVERAL OTHER KIT CARS IN 2007 BY A MR. WARD. HE HAD SLOWLY BUILT THE CAR WITHOUT PAINTING THE BODY AND DROVE IT ABOUT 500 MILES. THEN SOLD THE CAR A FEW YEARS AGO TO A MR. SMITH THAT PULLED THE BODY OFF AND PULLED THE ENGINE. PAINTED THE BODY, MADE SOME INPROVEMNETS, HAD THE ENGINE CHECKED AND PAINTED, BOUGHT NEW TIRES AND RIMS. FINISHED AND TITLED IT IN 2024 PUT IN THE WORLD OF WHEELS AND PUT LIKE 200 MILES ON IT. NOW MY SELLER OWNS IT. AFTER ABOUT 8 MONTHS HE DECIDED TO MOVE SELL SOME CARS FROM HIS COLLECTION. IT HAS ONLY BEEN DRIVEN ABOUT 800 MILES TOTAL AND READY FOR WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO USE IT FOR. AT SHOWS GUYS WILL ASK ABOUT IT OR TELL YOU HOW THEY REMEMBER THEM FROM THE DAY OR RACE THE TING OR DRIVE IT TO GET ICE CREAM.
RACE HISTORY - In 1962 and 63 the Shelby Cobras were winning all the road coarse races and race car builder Bill Thomas and Chevy got together and built a few cars they named Cheetah that became nick named Cobra Killer. They were so fast compared to other cars on the straight aways they started winning some races. Then Chevy pulled the plug on funding when some rules changed in racing. So, 10 cars were built and raced. the 3rd car was sold to Ralph Saylor in 1964, who cut the top off and raced it as a roadster. It was the most successful racing Cheetah. Learn more on Wikipedia.
