SL or "Sport Light" was a grand touring car that made a big first impression on wealthy auto enthusiasts post WWII. The third generation of the SL or the R107 as it was internally known as was built and sold for nearly twenty years, from 1971 through 1989 both in a coupe and convertible variant. These cars were highly popular amongst the wealthy and command good dollars with collectors assuming they have been properly owned and cared for, as this one sure has been. This stunning triple brown car with paint code 480 indicating Manganese Brown Metallic with interior color code of 504 or Espresso Brown is an excellent color combination and so properly 1983 in addition to the matching Manganese Brown hard top and brown soft top, both of which are in excellent condition as is the rest of the car with the exception of a couple cosmetic imperfections like a couple small door dings.
