Seller's Notes

The 993 is widely regarded as the finest air-cooled 911 ever made - and for good reason. Introduced for the 1995 model year as the last of the air-cooled generation, the 993 was a comprehensive re-engineering of the 911 formula: a fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension finally tamed the classic tail-happy handling, the 3.6L M64 flat-six was refined to new levels of smoothness and reliability, and the body received a sweeping aesthetic update that remains one of the most beautiful 911 silhouettes to this day. Porsche knew the air-cooled era was ending, and the 993 was their send-off done right. The Cabriolet variant adds open-air driving to one of the greatest GT cars ever produced - and values have reflected that ever since. A clean, low-mileage, well-documented 993 Cab is not a car you stumble across every day.

Vehicle Summary
This is the real thing - a two-owner, sub-49k mile, fully documented 993 Cabriolet with a genuinely fascinating first chapter. The car was originally owned by the Barrier family of Barrier Motor Sports, the well-known Porsche dealership group out of Washington State. First-owner provenance doesn't get more fitting for a car like this. The service history is extensive and continuous, and the car has been looked after the way a car like this deserves.

Mechanically and cosmetically, it's been properly maintained and thoughtfully updated. KW V3 coilovers provide adjustable, track-capable suspension without sacrificing daily drivability. Rotors and brakes are fresh within 1,500 miles. Tires are 2018 date codes. The Fister Stage 3 exhaust gives the flat-six the soundtrack it was born to have. The Momo steering wheel is fitted (original Porsche wheel with tiptronic is included). LS Motorsport engine valve covers are fitted. Headlights, fogs and front signal, have been replaced with OEM Porsche units for a fresh look - originals are included.

The convertible top was replaced within the last five years and presents excellently. The AC system was filled within the last year and has been noted needing a quick vent recalibration. One item worth flagging: the radio recently stopped functioning, though it does power on - likely a straightforward fix.

Paint presents at a strong 9/10. The front bumper, hood, and quarter panels were professionally resprayed and PPF'd to address rock chips - a significant investment that shows carried out by a certified Porsche body shop coordinated by Porsche Bellevue. There are a few touched-up dings behind the passenger and driver's doors and on the rear deck lid, visible up close but not the story of the car.

What makes this example special beyond the spec sheet: the original maintenance kit, compressor, and books are included. The dealer work gloves are still in the car. The original key tag from Barrier Porsche is still on the keys. These are the details that tell you this car was never treated as anything less than the collectible it is.

Ownership History
Two-owner car. First owner: the Barrier family of Barrier Motor Sports, a prominent Porsche dealership group in Washington State - a fitting first steward for a car like this. Extensive documented service history spanning the life of the vehicle. Current owner maintained the car at the same high standard. All documentation, books, and records included with the sale.
