1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

This is a very nice 65 Chevelle Malibu SS 138 VIN that has had a same owner for the past 30 years, done in very nice Cobalt Blue, basecoat clearcoat, new tined windshield; all other glass is factory original in excellent condition, weather stripping and window felts have all been relaced, original window stainless in very good condition, new door handles and side view mirrors, hood and fender eyebrow moldings are original in very good condition; as well as headlight bezels, new grill and grill extension moldings, new front bumper, new emblems, new wheel well moldings, rocker moldings are original in good condition, deck lid and quarter trim look like new; as well as taillights, rear bumper has been re-chromed.

Black bucket seat console interior, dash has been refinished, dash bezel has been replaced, original instrument cluster with gauges - showing 10,779 miles, factory original radio in dash has been disconnected - has a AM/FM/CD stereo nicely mounted in glovebox, Vintage Sun Super tach mounted to column, pair of gauges nicely mounted under dash for better accuracy, 3 spoke sport wood wheel, headliner and visors have been replaced, new front and rear door panels; as well as armrest and bases, new front & rear seat covers and foam, nicely updated with front and rear seat belts, original center console in excellent condition with correct shifter, carpet has been replaced, custom floor mats.

Under the hood we have a 65 casted 396 which has been professionally rebuilt with mild cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, dual feed 4 barrel carb, nicely updated with HEI electronic distributor, chrome valve covers and breather, high flow aluminum water pump, heavy duty radiator with correct shroud and fan; also has auxiliary electric fan, nicely updated with 80 amp alternator, also has been updated with front disc brakes and dual master cylinder, front suspension has been gone through, this strong running 396 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans which has been rebuilt, set of Hedman ceramic coated long tube headers into 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust out the back in stock location, 10 bolt posi rear with new posi and 308 gear, new brakes.
