This 2000 Camaro is one of 144 Camaro SS convertibles with a 6 speed manual transmission in 81U Bright Red. It is like brand new! The Bright Red paint on this car is drop dead gorgeous! Chrome Wheels, Black Cloth Top and the medium Gray leather interior make a nice combination on this 2000 Chevrolet Camaro SS!
The paint is so glossy it almost looks wet. It has 17" chrome wheels in front and 18” in the rear, 1.5” drag lowering springs. The convertible top is in excellent shape, black cloth with a glass window with rear defroster. This Camaro looks brand new. I do not see a flaw anywhere! Paint and body look pristine, even up front, no stone chips. Headlights are crystal clear. The glass, rubber, door jams are mint, the chrome wheels still look new as well.
The interior is very nice with full power accessories. Factory premium Monsoon stereo with CD changer in the trunk, power driver seat and windows. The top is easy to put up and down and has the 3 piece boot for the convertible top which is in a nice storage case in the trunk. It has many nice options that all seem to function properly. We have 2 sets of keys with remote fobs.
In the trunk you will find the factory CD changer and the convertible top boot and the spare tire and jack. Very clean and detailed!
Even the bottom of this Camaro looks practically new. It has an aftermarket Magnaflow dual exhaust with stainless tail pipes. The suspension looks great. It is obvious this car was never in bad weather and stored in a climate controlled garage.
This Camaro has the very desirable LS1 motor featuring a Stage 3 camshaft and long tube headers. Chevrolet only produced 802 convertible 6 speeds and of those only 144 of them were a Red SS! These cars are becoming very collectible and a solid investment. Clean Carfax!
