1973 marked the debut of the sixth generation of the F-series trucks by Ford, they would be built through 1979 and would be known as the "dent side" trucks and would be the first time that front disc brakes would be standard equipment. This trucks was sold out west and then went to North Carolina before coming North to only be used as a summertime cruiser. So needless to say, this truck is solid, solid, solid with no rust issues on the body or underside problem areas. It starts, runs and goes down the road very nicely. It is geared low with a granny first gear...This is how most trucks of the era were ordered and built, you know as work trucks. There is a mountain of paperwork, spec sheets and receipts on this rig. The biggest downfall some might say is there is some clear coat peeling in a few different areas but thats it. The engine bay is tidy, inside the box was spray lined and the interior is in nice condition. We welcome any questions and encourage inspections here in our Traverse City location!
