This beautiful Chevelle started out as a Burnished Bronze Poly over Black Coated Fabric and was restored in 2015 with all indications showing this was an original 396 SS, factory A/C car. At time of the restoration, the owner opted to swap to a lower displacement Gen 1 327 “fuelie” for the sake of simple, reliable performance, and fuel economy, and installed a 200 R4 transmission with a torque converter lockup. The fuelie was converted to a four barrel carb set up for easier tuning and adjustment. The result is an incredibly reliable and efficient muscle car that gets 20+ mpg. Newer top, new tires, rebuilt front end, and working factory A/C makes this Chevelle an incredible, go-anywhere driver that has been incredibly maintained since the build.
