3,075 miles

1994 Dodge Viper RT-10 Roadster Mileage holds an important place in valuing classic cars, as it provides vital information about the car's usage and wear over time. Generally, the lower the mileage, the more desirable and valuable a classic car becomes. This is because low mileage vehicles are often seen as being in better condition, having experienced less wear and tear than their high mileage counterparts. Thevaultms.cmo For consignment, a 1994 Dodge Viper RT-10 roadster with a title verified 3,077 actual miles. The OG of the Viper world, this example has been garage kept and according to our consignor, has never seen rain, even though it comes with an extra hardtop! Exterior In the 80's, it was the Countach that graced the bedroom walls of young car dudes, but in the 90's the Viper hit the scene like a Copperhead with rabies, striking the hearts of young and old alike. And Viper Red was the poster color for the car which is strikingly, (no pun intended), low, wide, and curvaceous. Massive front fender vents were not intended for heat extraction, rather to relieve aerodynamic pressure from inside the wheel wells, and present a dramatic body line to this exotic American, a car with many dramatic body lines. Take the rear window surround that's integrated into the wide hips of the rear fenders, the integrated side pipes on the rocker, and the sinister fascia with the eyes of a venomous pit viper and the gaping intake of a python. Unusual three spoke 17-inch wheels were used and the ZR rated tires here are from the car's build era. Imperfections are few and include some surface scratches on the decklid fill panel and some chin scrapes. Interior The seat belts are mounted to the doors which are dressed in gray and black plastic panels, handsome, simple and clean. Gray leather bucket seats flank a notably wide center console with speakers stacked on the upper rear piece and an ergonomic shifter towards the front. A race inspired steering wheel fronts a neatly configured dashboard with white faced gauges in charcoal rims, visible and canted towards the driver, based in a sea of gray plastic. Below a row of vents is the center stack which includes the factory AM/FM/Cassette radio and A/C panel framed in charcoal plastic. Black carpet covers the floor and the modest trunk is large enough to house a space saver spare and more. Drivetrain The clamshell style hood pivots forward to reveal the legendary red painted 8.0 liter V10, good for an era impressive 400 horsepower and mated to a T56 6-speed manual transmission. Power is routed to the Viper rear end with 3.07 gears. Other than some dust, the bay presents cleanly. Undercarriage The underside is just shy of pristine as some time catalyzed surface rust has made its way onto a few components, but otherwise is excellent form. The dual exhaust, of course end up going to the side pipes in short order and naturally, power disc brakes are at all four wheels. Suspension is independent at both ends and consists of coil springs all around.  Drive-Ability No surprises here on our short lap on the test loop where the Viper acts like the low mileage car it is. We're not flogging this example on older tires, but there's obvious power underfoot and turn-ins would surely be spectacular at speed. All functions operate as intended on this inaugural gen Dodge Viper. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Instantly recognizable, ridiculously fast, and an iconic legend right out of the box, the Dodge Viper represents one of the most significant sports cars in American automotive history. As such, the first gen models hold a special place in the legacy, and this barely driven example is one for the discerning collector. 1B3BR65E3RV101976 1-USA B-Dodge 3-Passenger Car B-Manual Belts R-Viper 6-Performance/Image
