1995 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 Long Bed Pickup  For the ninth generation of F150 trucks, Ford offered a number of trim levels. The XLT added a black rubber strip to the bumpers, a chrome grille, deep dish aluminum wheels, carpeted map pockets, an AM/FM stereo with digital clock, and a cloth or vinyl seat.   For consignment, a 1995 Ford F150 XLT 4x4 with a title verified 19,048 actual miles. Every once in a while, we take in a once common vehicle that's been incredibly well preserved over the years and put it on consignment with ridiculously low mileage. This F150 is just such a case. It may have been built for work, but this truck has been on easy street since 1995.  Exterior Two stage Lapis Metallic blue paint is underscored by a dark blue band and silver stripe on the rocker panel, itself topped with polished side molding, and that level of trim is how the truck probably left the factory. Things have been added for practicality, but they also add to the good looks of this shiny truck. We'll start with the color matched visor capped with cab lights on its leading edge, a bug guard on the hood to send insects skyward over the windshield, an aluminum running board, wide and flat, tubular sidewall rails for tying things down, tubular grab handles of the C-pillar, and big 'ole mudflaps out back to keep the truck clean. All chrome and polished trim is in great condition, the Rhino coated bed is flawless, and 15-inch wheels carry 235/75R15's with a mid 2023 date code. Flaws are few with imperfections noted as a discoloration by a key cylinder and below it on the door, some small chips on the outer bed wall, a small blemish and a disturbed stripe on the tailgate. Interior Complex blue door panels look showroom fresh with sweeping bands of vinyl, plastic and carpet along with plenty of storage and plastic hardware. The blue cloth bench is also nearly pristine with a hideaway center armrest and headrests that flank a sliding glass rear window. The black leather wrapped steering wheel is replete with thumb controls and the center pad shows a touch of discoloration, perhaps the only interior feature that veers from catalog level configuration. A simple instrument cluster is up ahead and an AM/FM/Cassette player is surrounded by a contouring dash pad and below a silver trim band is the A/C panel. Blue carpet covers the floor, the range selector sits to the left of the tunnel, and the blue cloth headliner above is spotless. Drivetrain Ford venerable 5.0 liter V8 is under the hood with EFI stamped into the plenum. It puts out 195 horsepower and is mated to an AODE 4-speed automatic transmission routing power to the Ford 8.8 axle and front differential, both with 3.55 gears and TracLoc in back.  Undercarriage With 19,000 miles, it's as clean as we expected. Maybe even a bit cleaner! It also has the textbook configuration that was common at the time. We're talking single exhaust still running through original equipment, power brakes that put disc up front and drums in the back, and suspension that includes radius arms and coil springs up front and good old dependable leaf springs in back. Drive-Ability We feather this well preserved around the test loop to find it performs as well as it looks and this might be as close to a new 1995 truck as you'll likely experience. All functions operate as they should and we don't keep it outside long enough to get dusty! While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. If you find a cleaner 1995 F150 with these few miles, buy it. And let's be clear; this is not only a classic now, but a show quality example. We'd go as far to say that this could easily be planted in a truck museum for display and represent the era perfectly, but that might be a shame for those of us who would love to drive it! 1FTEF14N9SNA30894 1-USA F-Ford Moto
