This 1954 MG TF is noted to have undergone a refurbishment in Canada circa 2000 before being brought to the US in 2020. The car is finished in Autumn Red with a Fawn soft top and removable side curtains over Biscuit leather upholstery and is powered by a 1,250cc XPAG inline-four fitted with dual SU carburetors. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and further equipment includes a folding windshield, Lucas driving lights, rear-hinged doors, and 15" wire wheels. A badge bar and Lucas driving lights have been added up front, and additional details include fender-mounted mirrors, rear-hinged doors, running boards, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The 15" wire wheels are secured by two-ear knock-offs. They are mounted with Classic All Season tires measuring 165/80, and a spare is affixed to the rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drums. The front tie rods were reportedly replaced in 2025. The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in Biscuit leather that are complemented by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Further interior appointments include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a passenger-side grab handle, and dual dashboard storage compartments. A banjo-style steering wheel fronts centrally mounted Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 105-mph speedometer with an inset clock, a tachometer, and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer is believed to have been reset upon completion of the aforementioned 2000 refurbishment and now shows 6k miles. The 1,250cc XPAG inline-four was equipped with dual SU carburetors and produced 57 horsepower when new. A PerTronix Flame Thrower ignition was added and the carburetors were rebuilt under previous ownership. The seller tells us that work in 2025 has involved performing a valve adjustment as well as cleaning the fuel tank and replacing the sending unit. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Car number HDB465919 aligns with a left-hand-drive MG TF built for the North American market in May 1954. The car is titled as a 1955 model. $26,900
