Regarding important service items that have been completed on this car at the 100K miles service are a new water pump and thermostat at 104K miles which is the main thing to look out for. It also had a new power steering pump and all new power steering hoses. It also had new air filters and new drive belts. Spark plug tune up was completed at 99K miles. We got the car in and did a full service on it. This included a new valve cover gasket which is a must at 100K miles. While we were in there we completed the eccentric shaft sensor, camshaft adjuster motor along with those seals as well. This is a $3,500+ service at the BMW dealership. We have a BMW Master Certified technician who comes through our vehicles. We also completed a fresh oil and filter change and a new NC emissions inspection.
The car does come loaded out with the Ultimate Package. This includes Comfort Access (Starting the car with the key in your pocket/purse as well as unlocking the car by hand), rear view camera, park sensors, full panoramic moonroof, power front seats, navigation and more. The car also has the Cold Weather package which includes heated front seats, heated steering wheel and headlight washers. The car has the most expensive tire that you can buy for these cars with Michelins installed. When we see people service their $8K car at the BMW dealership and also install $1,800 tires, they are taking care of their car.
