Seller's Notes

1975 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe With Corvette, it's hard to know where to start. That's because a Corvette has the ability to become exactly what its owner hopes it will be. A superb road car, a stunning style anywhere, a means to good times, good places, good things. Obviously, we can't hope to discuss all of the many possible Corvettes-to-be. Instead, we can talk about the '75 Corvette only as it is: The exceptional assembly of standard systems, features and available options. For this, we know you'll be able to put together your kind of Corvette. From the '75 sales brochure  For consignment, a 1975 Chevrolet Corvette coupe showing 76,603 miles, but the true miles are unknown due to a PA title exemption. This car couples its numbers matching drivetrain with the Gymkhana suspension and mostly original paint that together, serves an attractive package and a serious car for the money.  Exterior Graceful lines adorn this fiberglass bodied sports car with flowing lines and near seamless construction, here in single stage and mostly original Classic White paint. Body colored T-top panels form the roof while the centerpiece bridges the cabin when the tops are removed. A luggage rack is on the rear deck for those weekend excursions, and the smooth tail panel is home to the ever epic and never dull quad circle tail lights. The flying buttresses behind the rear window envelope it and create a streamlined C-pillar that melds into the rear fenders. 15-inch lace style wheels are a nice touch here and wrapped in 225/70R15 Cooper Cobra tires with letters out for an extra bit of sportiness. Imperfections include crazing throughout, chipped paint, chips, scratches, edge wear, rock spray, paint drips, and flex cracks.  Interior Six colors were offered in '75 and this one has the black option with door panels that include a woodgrain panel because everything had a woodgrain panel in 1975. Tall bucket seats, flat by today's standards, remain in good shape with some typical light wear we call patina creasing, but no rips or tears are noted. Up front, it's standard era Corvette accommodations including a sport steering wheel, twin gauges in black plastic housing ahead, and a cockpit like array in the center stack. Under the AM/FM radio, the wood returns to dress the shifter, A/C thumb controls, spec plate, and shift diagram, all in very good shape. Black carpet covers the floor and the rear cargo area with some minor fading in some areas.  Drivetrain A rather crowded engine bay puts components around the numbers matching 350ci L48 V8 putting out 165 horsepower. It's fueled by a 4-barrel carburetor and mated to its numbers matching T10 4-speed manual transmission. Power is routed to the rear axle with 3.36 gears and Positraction. Power brakes, power steering, and air conditioning are included in some of those components in the bay and while you won't win any cleanest engine awards, it's all there and easily detailed.   Undercarriage Its driver quality under here with typical surface rust and oxidation, a bit of residual fluid on the transmission and oil pan, and some rust impacting the outer shell of the catalytic converter. A single exhaust splits after that converter and runs through two stock style mufflers before exiting through two pipes. Four wheel power disc brakes are on board and RPO FE7 puts heavy duty suspension on this car with the Gymkhana option fortifying the front coil springs and transverse leaf springs, lateral struts and half shafts.   Drive-Ability It may be old school, but the race car-like posture is immediately exciting. We start this numbers matching example up and circle the loop a few times while we check functionality. Runs well, tracks straight and naturally, has Corvette-like handling! All functions on this molded muscle machine work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will
