Although Pontiac did not officially offer a GTO convertible in 1972.
Customers were able to pick options to create such a car.
As the case with this rare example.. We have the PHS that shows this
car was ordered as close to a GTO ragtop as it gets..
In 1972 Pontiac only produced only 3,438 LeMans Sport Ragtops.
This car breaks down to around 200 built with L78 400 and Endura nose package.
