For consignment, a 2005 Ford Mustang GT convertible with a title verified 16,920 actual miles. With aftermarket suspension and exhaust as well as a little bump in the engine bay, this one presents cleanly with some upgrades over the stock configuration.  Exterior It's got the look of a GT, but there's some clues here that we're not dealing with your run of the mill, off the shelf Mustang. First, those black stripes over Torch Red paint hint of racecar intentions as they flow over the rear spoiler. The whole car hunkers down over 20-inch Ferrada wheels in black with 35 series ZR rated tires with a mid 2021 date code, all working to beef up the personality of this pony car. A carbon fiber rear diffuser makes way for bit exhaust tips while dealing with the air that somehow makes it under this low car. And what's this? A small supercharged badge under each of the blacked out GT callouts on the fenders. Now we're talking! Meanwhile, the black canvas top is in great shape and holds a glass window with a defrost option. Imperfections are few and include some bubbling paint on a bumper cover, touched up chips, and some roughness over a wheel opening.  Interior Red plastic cove inserts brighten the black doors, also in textured plastic and all hardware looks to be in showroom condition. And so do the black leather seats with tuck and roll inserts and high headrests and the deep 2+2's in the back present in similar fashion. It's standard GT up front which means sporty and smart, cleanly designed with clear gauges and nothing to distract from the driving experience. A central touch screen displays the AM/FM/CD radio and back up camera while a Hurst shifter is topped by a bright red ball that could serve as the 3 ball in your next game of 8 ball. Cup holders and armrest reside over low pile black carpet, all in fantastic shape. The trunk is fully finished in gray mats and has a suspension stiffener running side to side. Drivetrain Under the hood and topped by a prominent Edelbrock E-force supercharger is the clean 4.6 liter 3 valve V8, putting out a consignor stated 460 horsepower. It's backed by a Tremec 3650 5-speed manual that routes power to the Ford 8.8 rear with 3.55 gears and TracLoc. A strut tower brace bridges the engine and headers are on board. Undercarriage Clean conditions prevail underneath where plenty of suspension upgrades are noted including fatter sway bars. Macpherson struts live up front while the rear is fortified by a 3 link, coil springs, and a panhard bar. The Pypes exhaust system included M-80 mufflers and substantial tips out back. Power disc brakes are at all four corners.   Drive-Ability No complaints here as this car looks great, sounds great, and handles like a freight train on rails. The interior is comfortable and the throttle is responsive and just like that, our short ride is over. We note all functions work as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.  When stock is nice but something a bit more is desired, here's what happens. A clean car with very nice mods that create a faster, better sounding, and better handling car than the one that left the Flatrock, Michigan plant. Tastefully done by avoiding the boy racer addons that are sometimes not worth the flash.
