This classic 1962 Mercury Comet is in very good condition. The equipment includes a 170 C. I. six cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission. Both run and shift well. No power steering or power brakes, but on a car that weighs as little as this one, you really don't need it. The blue body and white top were painted several years ago and the patina remains very presentable. There are new white front and rear seats and new looking carpet. The headliner needs minor repair around the rear window and the arm rest on the drivers side door panel needs repair from wear. All other interior components are in good condition. This nice classic Mercury has no rust bubbles under the paint, and nothing other than very minor surface rust is evident. Everything is solid, including the trunk, doors, rocker panels and fenders. This 1962 Mercury Comet is located in Statesboro, Georgia and available for a pre-purchase inspection.
