The Mark 6 Golf had mixed reviews when originally introduced; the original criticism was in the fact that the MK6 wasn't all that different than it's predecessor (basically a face lift). Now that the vehicles have aged a little bit it's less important that they are similar and what you're left with is an extremely fun car to drive for reasonable money. The best part of the MK6 GTI is the driving experience; it's light and nimble but feels German and substantial. This vehicle follows the original spirit of the original Rabbit GTI. Under the hood you'll find a 2.0 liter turbocharged inline 4 cylinder connected to a 6 speed wet dual clutch transmission (DQ250). While only rated at 200 HP and 207 TQ, these hot hatches charged to 60 MPH in low 6 second times. Our GTI is in decent shape and shows well, however there are plenty of bumps and bruises that the vehicle has acquired over the years/mileage. Give us a shout and we can tell you what we know.
