It shared the E-body platform with the Cadillac Eldorado and the Buick Riviera, but they had quite different styling...The change to more luxury was a huge success as sales increased dramatically... Many styling revisions happened for 1977...A new front bumper was provided and the parking lights were moved under the headlights..
