1986 was the final year of the square body C10 before Chevrolet completely redesigned the truck lineup for 1987. The generation that began in 1973 and ran thirteen years had become one of the most recognized shapes in American truck history, and this was its last hurrah. The Silverado was the top trim of the C10 lineup, bringing a higher level of interior finish and exterior detail that separated it from the base models. The 383 is a well-proven combination, a 350 block bored and stroked to produce significantly more torque than the factory engine while keeping the same basic small-block layout that every Chevy shop in the country can work on. Power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning make this truck as easy to live with daily as it is satisfying to look at. A Tonno Pro bed cover finishes the exterior cleanly.
Inside, the red cloth interior has been refreshed with new carpet throughout. A custom dash and new radio give the cabin a modern, clean feel without losing the character of the era.
