The result is a one-of-a-kind custom that earned a place at the Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) and is ready to turn heads wherever it goes. According to the consignor, power comes from a rebuilt 255 CID Flathead V8 built by renowned Flathead engine builder Russ Monte. The engine features Fenton aluminum heads, a Fenton intake topped with dual Stromberg carburetors, a Stromberg electronic distributor, a Powermaster alternator conversion, and a 12-volt electrical system. Power is sent through a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive and a Gennie floor shifter, delivering a classic driving experience with improved highway cruising capability. The consignor also states that a new wiring harness was recently installed. The exterior showcases numerous traditional custom touches, including a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air grille, 1955 Oldsmobile headlights, Mercury Monarch (Canadian) taillights, and all-new chrome.
