Note the first picture. This is my wife and I running "The Tail of the Dragon" (318 curves in an 11 mile stretch). It is considered by many as one of the world's foremost motorcycling and sports car roads. Anyone looking for an exciting highway will enjoy this 11-mile stretch of US129. We were headed to a British Car Show in which we placed first in the Jaguar closed roof class.
This is a California car that received a complete, high end, restoration (exterior, interior, engine) a few years back. The car was repainted, and the chrome was re-plated. The interior wood was re-finished and the interior was re-done in Italian leather. The 3.4 engine was re-placed with a completely re-built 4.2 engine with HD-8 carburetors.
This may be the finest Mark I available anywhere. The gauges were re-built as was the 4 speed transmission with overdrive. The windshield wiper motor was also re-built. Everything works. Pictures and many of the receipts for restoration are included. If you want a fine Jaguar that you can immediately drive and enjoy, this is your car.
