1926 Rolls-Royce Phantom

This 1926 British Rolls Royce can be described as a Phantom 1 Merrimac special Salamanca 67NC. It is a large town-car with open driver’s compartment and an enclosed cabin in the rear. The driver’s compartment can hold two adults and is finished in high quality leather in excellent condition and wood finished dash. It has a soft top and side curtains, but can be used in an open configuration. The rear compartment is a luxurious seating area with original fabric double cushion seats and a fold down arm rest. Fold down jump seats provide additional seating for children or serve as foot cushions. On the rear of the car is a trunk which has tools and repair books in the upper compartment and a sterling silver picnic set in the bottom. I believe that this handsome picnic set is original to the car. Pictures will attest to the elegance of the service.
The front fenders have just been repainted to address some scratches. The fuel system is freshly done and is in good period correct operation. The engine is in good working order. The car starts and runs just as it should. The powerful straight six propels the town car at good speeds down the road. Steering is positive although a bit heavy. There is no shimming or pulling going down the avenue. The car is a pleasure to drive. Brand new Coker wide white wall tires have just been installed.
